API Equality is committed to working in the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community in California and nationally for equal marriage rights, fair treatment, and overall acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people.
Working in collaboration with our local partners, API Equality-LA and API Equality-SF, we engage in public education, community organizing, and legal and legislative advocacy to achieve our goals.

Vote for Equality, a project of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center is Southern California's leading campaign to educate voters to speak out at the ballot box in support of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. By constantly reaching out to voters in the Los Angeles area, VFE is educating and building a supportive base of voters for marriage equality.
Trans Equality LA
Trans Equality LA primarily works to ensure that transgender voices and perspectives are included in the marriage equality issue that is being taken up by the media and many LGBT organizations.
Latino Coalition for Justice
A partner organization with Lambda Legal, this effort is the only Latino collaborative effort on LGBT issues in Los Angeles.
